Imran’s Army Act trial is hinted to by senior military officials.

ISLAMABAD: The senior military leadership made it abundantly clear on Monday that Imran Khan might face legal action for robbing military facilities after his detention on May 9 under the Pakistan Army Act and Official Secret Act.

After the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) detained PTI leader Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case on Tuesday, PTI supporters broke into and damaged the historic Corps’ Commander’s House, formerly known as Jinnah House and once serving as the residence of the nation’s founding father, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in an unprecedented act of vandalism last week.

The old building’s photos and videos revealed that every room, hallway, drawing room, living room, and vehicles.

According to the ISPR, the commanders also conveyed the rank and file of the army’s sadness and thoughts about these tragic and unacceptable acts.

“Based on irrefutable evidence collected thus far, armed forces are well aware of the planners, instigators, abettors, and perpetrators of these attacks, and attempts to create distortions in this regard are absolutely futile,” the military’s media wing stated.

The forum said unequivocally that those responsible for these horrific acts against military sites, soldiers, and equipment would face justice through prosecutions under Pakistani laws such as the Pakistan Army Act and the Official Secrets Act. The forum decided that culprits, spoilers, and violators who assault military stations and setups will no longer face restriction.
