Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo denounced the blast and expressed sorrow over the deaths and injuries of police officers. He also expressed sympathy to their families.

“The goal of terrorism is to halt development and intimidate security forces.” Terrorists’ vile aims will never succeed,” the chief minister said in a statement, adding that such attacks will not shake the security forces’ resolve or courage.

“The sensible people of Makran will thwart the ambitions of elements who are against development,” he stated, adding that by continuing the development process, the people’s welfare would be secured and the province’s backwardness would be erased.

Mir Ziaullah Langove, the Balochistan Interior Minister, also condemned the event and requested a report.

He stated terrorists’ plots at the behest of “foreign forces” would be foiled, and he praised security officials’ sacrifices.

“The war against terrorism will continue until peace is achieved,” Langove said, praying for the martyred and injured.
