Indian Shelling Claims 11 Civilian Lives In Neelum Valley

At least 11 civilians lost their lives and 56 others, including women and children, sustained injuries after Indian forces conducted unprovoked shelling across the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir late Friday night. The attack targeted densely populated border villages, sparking widespread panic among residents.

AJK Information Minister Mazhar Saeed confirmed that Indian shelling hit villages in the Neelum Valley, causing heavy casualties. Emergency response teams have been mobilised, and the injured are receiving treatment at local hospitals.

As a precaution, authorities have evacuated the villages of Ratta Pani and Bor, relocating residents to safer areas. Relief efforts are underway to assist displaced families and mitigate further risks.
