The gold price in Pakistan

The price of gold in Pakistan fell slightly on Saturday, ending the week at Rs. 222,800 per tola.
The price of gold (24 carats) increased by Rs. 1,00 per tola to Rs. 222,800, according to data issued by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), while the price of 10 kilos grew by Rs. 85 to close at Rs. 191,015.

The precious metal’s price surged by Rs. 1,600 per tola on Monday and another Rs. 6,200 per tola on Tuesday. The price of gold climbed by Rs. 5,400 per ounce on Wednesday. The price fell by Rs. 5,300 per tola on Thursday before rising by Rs. 1,800 per tola on Friday.
Despite a minor drop yesterday, the price of gold grew by Rs. 9,600 per tola during the previous week.
After reaching an all-time high of Rs. 240,000 per tola on May 10, the price of gold has been declining in recent weeks, falling to Rs. 204,000 per tola by July 12. However, the precious metal has soared by over Rs. 19,000 per tola since July 12.
