On Monday, a local court in Islamabad granted post-arrest bail to eight Chinese nationals accused of involvement in an online fraud scheme.
Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah, presiding at the Islamabad District and Sessions Courts, approved their bail requests on the condition of submitting surety bonds worth Rs100,000 each.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had registered a case against the eight individuals, accusing them of cybercrime and financial fraud following a complaint from a woman who alleged she was scammed online.
After reviewing arguments from both the prosecution and defense, the court accepted the bail pleas and instructed the accused to provide the required surety bonds.
