On a shocking morning at 6:15 AM, an infant girl, approximately 3 to 4 hours old, was discovered abandoned in a plastic bag near the residence of Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry in Islamabad.

The child was found by police officers who responded to a call from the public. Remarkably, the baby was alive when discovered.

Constable Asif Khan, assigned to the Dolphin Squad, expressed his desire to take custody of the infant, stating he would care for her.

The duty officer, ASI Imam Ali, approved the request and handed the baby over to Constable Asif.

Constable Asif has since taken the baby home for her care and protection, showcasing a compassionate response in a distressing situation.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the infant’s abandonment.
