In Islamabad, police discovered a suspicious bag near the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally site in Sangjani. The bomb disposal squad was called to inspect the bag, leading to increased security at the rally venue. PTI is showcasing its political strength with the rally, which has been granted conditional approval to run from 4 pm to 7 pm without disrupting public movement.
PTI leaders have instructed local and distant party members to arrive with specific numbers of supporters and form convoys rather than gathering directly in Islamabad. Leaders from surrounding areas are expected to bring additional workers, with attendees required to reach the venue by 2 pm.
