Islamia University Lecturer Detained for Allegedly Harassing and Blackmailing Student

A lecturer from Islamia University has been arrested for allegedly harassing and blackmailing a female student.

According to the police, the arrest was made following a complaint from the student. The First Information Report (FIR) reveals that the lecturer sent inappropriate messages and obscene videos to the student through WhatsApp.

The complaint also alleges that the lecturer threatened to fail the student in her exams and have her expelled from the university if she refused to engage in an illicit relationship.

The police have taken action by registering the case and arresting the lecturer on charges of harassment and blackmail.
