‘Justice for Sania Zehra’ Trends as Man Accused of Murder his Pregnant Wife

In a tragic incident in Multan, 20-year-old Sania Zehra was allegedly raped, tortured, and murdered by her husband, Ali Raza.

An Instagram page, @justiceforsaniazehra, shared details, stating: “Sania was a victim of domestic violence. Her husband choked her and then hanged her to make it look like suicide. He hasn’t been arrested. He killed her because she refused to ask her father for money and property.”

The post also mentioned that Sania, a mother of two and pregnant with her third child, was raped and murdered, with her family being informed two days after her death.

Sania’s father insisted she was murdered, stating, “All the glasses and mirrors in the room were broken. Someone committing suicide doesn’t break things. For suicide, one’s feet don’t touch the ground. My daughter hung for over fourteen hours. I address the Multan authorities: if the murderer isn’t arrested by June 13th, I’ll create havoc in Multan, and the police will be responsible.”

Further details revealed that Raza had slashed her tongue and broken her teeth before killing her. The house they lived in belonged to Sania, but her husband blackmailed her to sell it. Additionally, Ali Raza lied about his first marriage, having two daughters from that marriage, while his ID card falsely stated he was single.

The public has been shocked by the incident. One user commented, “She was only 20, with two kids and a third on the way. This shows how little regard he had for her health.”

Another wrote, “This is absolutely horrendous. How is he still not arrested? I am ashamed to be called Pakistani.”

Another noted, “This is the value of women in Pakistani society. A pregnant woman is tortured, raped, murdered, and then hanged to make it seem like suicide.”
