In an unusual case, a Karachi man was sentenced to nine years in prison for sharing his wife’s ‘obscene pictures. The court also imposed a Rs90,000 fine. The judge noted that the man had humiliated his wife and her family.

In a separate incident in Punjab, a man blackmailed his ex-wife by sharing videos of her private activities. The ex-husband recorded and spread these videos after their divorce. The woman, who sought help from the media program Sar-e-Aam, reported that her ex-husband also attempted to force himself on her during a meeting.
