The sudden tremor caused widespread panic among locals, many of whom recited verses from the Holy Quran for safety. This earthquake is a reminder of the region’s susceptibility to seismic activity, being the second in recent weeks. On July 2, Mingora and nearby areas experienced a similar quake with a magnitude of 4.5, also originating near the Tajikistan border.

Local authorities are closely monitoring the situation, though no immediate threats have been identified. Residents are urged to stay alert and take precautions in case of aftershocks.
