OGDCL, backed by the government, is leading some of Pakistan’s largest exploration projects and continues to expand its activities in the mining sector to uncover more natural resource deposits.

Experts believe this discovery could help reduce the region’s reliance on imported energy. The development supports Pakistan’s efforts to improve its domestic energy production.

OGDCL officials report that further exploration is underway, with the potential for more discoveries in the area.
