A cowardly terrorist attempt to attack Bannu Cantt early this morning was successfully thwarted by the quick and effective response of security forces, according to reliable sources.
The incident occurred around 4:40 am when terrorists detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (IED) on the road between the outer wall of Bannu Cantt and the supply depot. The explosion aimed to create an entry point for the attackers to breach the secure area.
