The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has also announced its own Eid-ul-Fitr holiday schedule.
According to an official notification issued by the KP government, Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will be observed in the province from April 21 to 26 (Friday to Wednesday). On April 27, the province’s official work will resume.
The federal government announced the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays from April 21 to 25 (Friday to Tuesday) on Thursday. The announcement came after the Cabinet Division’s recommendation was approved by the government.
The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, on the other hand, has called its monthly meeting to observe the Shawaal crescent. The meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, April 20 (29 Ramadan). On the same day, zonal committees will meet in designated zones.
The central meeting will be held at Islamabad’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony building. The session will be presided over by Chairman Molana Abdul Khabeer Azad.
