MULTAN – A horrific triple murder has shocked the village of Asadullahpur near Phalia, where a man allegedly killed his parents and wife over a dispute involving land money. The incident, which occurred shortly after Ehsanullah’s return from Kuwait, has left the community in disbelief.
According to police reports, the dispute began over a sum of Rs. 20 million that Ehsanullah’s father, Muhammad Hussain, had received after selling 4 kanals of agricultural land.
Ehsanullah demanded his share of the money, but when his request was refused, he resorted to violence. In a fit of rage, the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot his father, mother Rasoolan Bibi, and wife Maria Bibi, killing them instantly.
The tragic incident unfolded in the family’s home, which had been expected to be a place of joyful reunion. Instead, it turned into a bloody crime scene that sent shockwaves through the village. Neighbors and villagers were left in grief and disbelief as the brutal murders unfolded.
After committing the heinous act, Ehsanullah fled the scene with the murder weapon, sparking a massive manhunt by local authorities.
Police cordoned off the area and moved the bodies to THQ Hospital Phalia for post-mortem examinations. Forensic teams were called in to collect evidence, and a case was filed against the suspect.
District Police Officer (DPO) Mandi Bahauddin, Waseem Riaz Khan, visited the crime scene personally and instructed immediate action. Punjab’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Usman Anwar also took notice of the case, directing concerned officials to ensure the swift arrest of the killer and provide full legal support to the grieving family.
This disturbing crime highlights the tragic consequences of disputes over land money, which in this case, led to the loss of three innocent lives. Authorities are determined to bring the responsible individual to justice.
