Lahore Police Arrest Four for Selling Fake Tickets Ahead of Pakistan vs New Zealand Match

Lahore police have arrested four individuals involved in selling counterfeit tickets to fans for the Pakistan vs New Zealand match at Gaddafi Stadium. Acting on a tip-off, SP Model Town Ikhlaq Tarar confirmed that the suspects, identified as Sultan, Izzatullah, Jamal, and Fareed, were apprehended near the stadium. The individuals were selling photocopied versions of original match tickets to unsuspecting buyers.

The match saw New Zealand secure a dominant 78-run victory over Pakistan in the opening game of the tri-nation ODI series. Despite Fakhar Zaman’s valiant 84-run effort, Pakistan fell short of the 331-run target, being bowled out for 252 in 47.5 overs.
