Militants launched a coordinated attack on two police stations and a police post in Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, late on Friday night. Unidentified assailants on motorcycles threw grenades at the Khojri police post, though no casualties were reported. Authorities have launched an investigation into the motives and identities of the attackers.
Simultaneously, militants attacked Bakakhel and Ghoriwala police stations, triggering gunfire exchanges with security forces. The assaults created panic across the district, prompting local residents to arm themselves and assist police in securing the area.

Security forces have launched a search operation to locate the attackers, while local law enforcement has increased security measures to prevent further incidents.
