Late last night, the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the Ministry of Economic Affairs was compromised by hackers. A spokesperson from the ministry confirmed the breach and clarified that any posts made during the hacking incident were not affiliated with the ministry. The Federal Minister for IT and Telecom, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, also took to her official X account to confirm the hacking incident.
