The Muzaffargarh bus trailer accident highlights ongoing concerns about traffic safety in Pakistan. Reckless driving, poor vehicle maintenance, and overloaded highways often contribute to such deadly crashes.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. Initial reports suggest that one of the vehicles may have been speeding. However, a full inquiry is underway to determine responsibility.
This incident comes just days after another tragic accident in Neelum Valley, where a tourist vehicle plunged into the river, killing six people.
