A new case of blackmails has surfaced in Pakistan, involving a serving Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilot. The officer claims he became a target of blackmail after a woman, posing as ‘Rafia from Multan’, created a fake social media profile to trap him.
The woman allegedly used a fabricated emotional story to lure the pilot and, when he rejected her marriage proposal, resorted to threats of making false rape allegations against him.
According to the FIR filed at Mianwali Police Station, the pilot met the woman in April this year in Multan. It was there that he discovered her true identity, which was entirely different from what she had portrayed online.
After this revelation, he decided to end all communication with her. However, the woman allegedly did not stop contacting him and began demanding that he marry her. When the pilot refused, she threatened to falsely accuse him of rape and destroy his career.
The pilot, who is stationed at M.M. Alam Airbase, stated that the woman’s threats endangered both his reputation and his life. The FIR also mentions that this same woman had previously filed a fake rape case in 2021 under Section 376 PPC in Multan against another individual.
This raises concerns about a dangerous pattern of legal manipulation and blackmail to achieve personal revenge.
As a result, the PAF officer has requested urgent protection and called on authorities to take swift action to prevent further harm to his career and life. The case has been filed under various serious charges, including fraud, cheating, false defamation, and harassment under the Telegraph Act.
This disturbing incident has sparked public outrage, highlighting the growing misuse of social media for blackmails and personal vendettas.
Many are now questioning how legal systems and social platforms are being exploited for such malicious purposes, further emphasizing the need for stricter regulations and protections against blackmail.
