Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, severely condemned the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden.
In a statement issued on Friday, he stated that a joint approach will be developed from the OIC platform to combat such terrible acts.
He emphasized that the OIC must play a historic role in voicing the feelings of the Muslim Ummah and putting a stop to such heinous activities.
The prime minister stated that a campaign will be launched to have the decision to allow the desecration of divine books Torah, Bible, and Holy Quran revoked. Desecration of religious literature, people, and ceremonies is not free speech, but rather a perpetual torture of the world.
According to him, the continuation of these crimes demonstrates that they are part of a political and diabolical purpose. He stated that the entire Muslim and Christian worlds must work together to put an end to this conspiracy.
