Pakistan Railways has introduced a 20% discount on train fares for passengers traveling during the three days of Eid.
As per official sources, this discount will be available on all Mail Express, Passenger, and Intercity trains. Travelers can benefit from the reduced fares on current bookings for the first, second, and third days of Eid.

This initiative is designed to facilitate passengers and encourage railway travel during the festive period. In the past, Pakistan Railways has implemented similar discounts on special occasions to provide relief to commuters and promote train travel.
Passengers can access the discounted tickets through railway reservation offices, online booking systems, and mobile applications. Authorities have advised travelers to secure their tickets in advance to avoid any last-minute issues.
Additionally, on Wednesday, Pakistan Railways announced the launch of three special Eid trains from Karachi to accommodate the increased number of passengers traveling for the celebrations. According to officials, two of these trains will operate between Karachi and Lahore, while one will run from Karachi to Rawalpindi.
The first special Eid train is set to depart from Karachi Cantt Station for Lahore on March 26 at 1 PM. The second train will leave from Karachi City Station for Rawalpindi on March 27 at 8:30 PM.
Similarly, the third special Eid train will depart from Karachi Cantt Station for Lahore on March 28 at 9 PM.
