Pakistan Successfully Tests Fatah-II: ISPR Reports

Pakistan recently marked a significant achievement in its military capabilities with the successful flight test of the Fatah-II missile on Wednesday, as confirmed by the country’s military media wing, ISPR.

The Fatah-II missile boasts state-of-the-art avionics, a sophisticated navigation system, and an innovative flight trajectory, as detailed in the ISPR statement. Significantly, this missile system showcases precise targeting capabilities within a range of 400 kilometers, reinforcing Pakistan’s defense arsenal.

The assessment witnessed the presence of high-ranking officials from the tri-services, as well as dedicated scientists and engineers, who observed the test with keen interest, as highlighted by the ISPR.

In light of this successful test, President Dr. Arif Alvi, interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir conveyed their heartfelt congratulations to the troops and scientists involved.

This achievement follows Pakistan’s previous milestones in enhancing its defense capabilities. In October, the country executed a successful test of the Ababeel Weapon System, reinforcing deterrence strategies and bolstering regional strategic stability through the Full Spectrum Deterrence approach.

Moreover, in August 2021, Pakistan celebrated the successful test of the “indigenous” Fatah-1 guided multi-launch rocket system (MLRS), a system highlighted by the ISPR for its ability to effectively deliver a conventional warhead.

Pakistan’s continued advancements in defense technology underscore its commitment to strengthening its national security and contributing to regional stability.
