Pakistani forces have successfully killed 47 terrorists in the Zhob district of Balochistan. Another 14 terrorists were eliminated during a sanitization operation near Sambaza, close to the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the operations took place on the night of August 8 and 9, 2025. The terrorists were identified as Indian-sponsored militants. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the militants killed during these operations.
Pakistani forces remain committed to securing the nation’s frontiers. They aim to prevent any attempts to sabotage Pakistan’s peace, stability, and progress. These operations demonstrate their dedication to protecting the country from terrorism.

This latest operation follows another successful mission on August 7 and 8. During that encounter, Pakistani forces eliminated 33 terrorists in the Sambaza area. The military seized a large cache of weapons and explosives in that operation as well.
The previous day, Pakistani forces also prevented a large-scale infiltration attempt. Heavily armed militants linked to the Indian-backed group Fitna al Khwaraj tried to cross the border near Sambaza in Zhob District. Pakistani troops swiftly engaged and neutralized the threat.
After the initial clashes, Pakistani forces conducted thorough clearance operations to ensure no militants remained in the region.
The ISPR emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to defending its borders. The military vowed to continue eliminating Indian-sponsored terrorism. This operation sends a strong message that attempts to destabilize Pakistan will face decisive action.
