Pakistani Student Hospitalized with Severe Injuries After Hit-and-Run Accident in Houston

A Pakistani student, Dania Zaheer, has been hospitalized in Houston, Texas, after suffering serious injuries from a hit-and-run accident.

The MBA student, originally from Karachi, was struck by a speeding car driven by a reckless driver who fled the scene after the crash.

The accident left Dania with six fractured bones, and she is set to undergo major surgery at a local hospital today. The 25-year-old is regarded as one of the top students at her university in the USA.

In a show of support, Pakistan’s Consul General in Houston, Aftab Chaudhry, former Federal Minister Baber Ghori, and other community members visited Dania in the hospital.

They expressed solidarity, stating that the American-Pakistani community stands by her during this challenging time.

Authorities are still searching for the driver responsible for the hit-and-run incident.
