The PTI’s president, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, and his son, Moonis Elahi, are being pursued by the National Accountability Bureau.

The bureau has requested records of both leaders’ holdings from institutions around the country.
The NAB has written to deputy commissioners and excise officials requesting records of Parvez Elahi and Moonis’ assets.
The information sought includes property and vehicle registration information for Elahi, his wife, sons Moonis and Rasikh, and their families.

The assets held by Parvez Elahi’s daughter and daughters-in-law have also been sought.
The NAB has also opened an investigation against Moonis Elahi for assets other than known sources of income.
The LHC judge has refused to entertain the detention petition.
On the other hand, Justice Farooq Haider of the Lahore High Court recused himself from hearing the case challenging Parvez Elahi’s arrest.
The court returned the matter to the branch.
The court accepted Elahi’s plea and expressed his disgust with the magistrate for scheduling the former chief minister’s cases before him.
Justice Haider was hearing Elahi’s wife Qaisara’s application. The PTI president’s wife had filed a high court challenge to his detention orders.
