Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced that around 42,000 Hajj pilgrims are scheduled to return to Pakistan on July 2 as part of its ongoing post-Hajj repatriation campaign.
So far, 24,000 pilgrims have already arrived in Pakistan via 109 PIA-operated flights. The national airline is using its fleet, including Boeing 777s and Airbus A320s, to facilitate the return journey.

The post-Hajj operation is expected to wrap up by July 10, according to the airline’s management.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has recently launched the mandatory registration process for those planning to perform Hajj in 2026. This early registration, which will continue until July 9, does not require any fee at this stage.
The ministry clarified that this initial registration is essential, and only those who complete it will be considered eligible for Hajj 2026.
