Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed Pakistan’s inclusion in the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Digital Cooperation Organisation’s (DCO) Digital Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Initiative, marking it as a step towards attracting global investments.

“Pakistan is the first country to adopt this initiative under the WEF framework,” he stated, highlighting its focus on digital infrastructure, exports of digital services, and fostering economic growth.
