Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the brutal killing of eight Pakistani citizens near the Pak-Iran border and urged Iranian authorities to immediately arrest those involved. The victims, all mechanics working at a local workshop in Iran’s Sistan and Balochistan province, were targeted by unidentified gunmen in a suspected terrorist attack.
Calling it a “heinous act of terrorism,” the premier stressed that the perpetrators must face exemplary punishment. He also emphasized the need for a joint regional strategy to combat terrorism, which he described as a “grave threat” to the region.
