ISLAMABAD – The Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s offer for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to visit Turkiye has been accepted, which is a substantial improvement in their diplomatic relations.
Prime Minister Shehbaz will go to Turkiye on June 3, the foreign office’s spokeswoman Mumtaz Zehra Baloch announced during a weekly briefing on Wednesday. The visit intends to extend an invitation to President Erdogan to visit Pakistan in addition to advancing bilateral ties.
The prime minister’s travel to Turkiye, Ms. Baloch emphasized during the briefing, is a sign of the long-standing relationship between the two nations. The journey represents a dedication to strengthening sector-specific cooperation and collaboration.
