According to security officials, the rocket hit the house around 1 a.m., causing partial damage to the entrance. An official noted that this was not the first time Khan’s home had been attacked—on May 14, an explosion had destroyed the main gate of the same residence. Thankfully, no casualties were reported in either incident.

The repeated assaults have sparked concerns over the security conditions in Bajaur. In response, local security measures have been intensified, and intelligence agencies are actively working to identify the attackers.

Mubarak Zeb Khan, a member of the ruling party, is a prominent political figure in the region, recognized for his development efforts in Bajaur, an area that has experienced intermittent unrest due to its location near the former tribal regions.
