According to reports, the suspect was arrested at the location where explosives were found earlier in the day. The investigation is ongoing, and security has been heightened.
Explosives including a hand grenade, rocket launcher, detonators, and other materials were discovered near the PTI rally site in Sangjani, Islamabad. The bomb disposal squad successfully neutralized the devices.

PTI is set to showcase its political power at today’s rally in Islamabad, with leadership already visiting the venue and preparations finalized. The district administration granted conditional approval for the rally, scheduled from 4 pm to 7 pm without affecting business or public movement.
Meanwhile, containers have sealed off all entry and exit points to Islamabad’s Red Zone, with access restricted to authorized personnel via Margalla Road. Containers also block the GT Road and the motorway’s entry point at the 26th toll plaza.
