The visit follows a series of counterterrorism operations in Balochistan, where security forces successfully neutralized 23 terrorists in the past 24 hours. The operations were launched after terrorists attempted to disrupt peace by establishing roadblocks in Kalat’s Mangocher area. Eighteen Pakistani soldiers were martyred in these operations.

The military’s media wing, ISPR, confirmed that swift action by security forces resulted in the killing of twelve militants, preventing further attacks. Follow-up operations across Balochistan, including in Harnai District, led to the elimination of eleven more militants and the dismantling of terrorist hideouts.

The ongoing operations aim to restore peace in the region and bring those responsible to justice, the ISPR stated.
