In a bid to ensure a lively atmosphere during Eid, authorities in Punjab have cancelled the staff leave at Lahore Safari Zoo, Lahore Zoo, and all wildlife parks across the province. The decision is aimed at maintaining uninterrupted services and providing continuous entertainment for visitors during the holiday period.
Mudassar Hassan, Director of Wildlife Punjab, emphasized that the preparations are primarily focused on Lahore Safari Park, where a variety of special events and wildlife awareness programs will be held. Visitors can look forward to daily shows and other activities, with food courts remaining open throughout the festivities to accommodate families and guests.

In addition to extended opening hours, maintenance work at the Safari Park is nearly complete, with only minor repairs remaining. To ensure the safety and security of all visitors, authorities have coordinated with the police, traffic police, and ambulance services. Enhanced security measures have been put in place to create a peaceful environment for families enjoying the celebrations.
This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for the people of Lahore and tourists during the Eid holiday. Despite some recent challenges, including the tragic deaths of rare animals at Lahore Zoo, efforts to improve the facilities and ensure the welfare of both visitors and animals continue.
