Anwar highlighted that the constable is presently undergoing treatment for his mental state. He further explained that a comprehensive screening and treatment program for the police force’s 200,000 employees, targeting 10 different conditions, is nearing completion.
The aim of this initiative is to identify individuals dealing with unnecessary fear due to psychological factors and to offer appropriate treatment and counseling, rather than to harm or dismiss employees. Those found to be grappling with psychological disorders will be referred to relevant medical professionals.
