A day after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was arrested, the party’s Secretary General Asad Umar was detained on the premises of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

The PTI leader was apprehended by the Islamabad police Anti-Terrorist Squad.

At the time of the arrest, PTI lawyers attempted to prevent the police from arresting Umar, but their efforts were futile.

The former finance minister was in the IHC to request a meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
