Senior TV Anchor Jasmeen Manzoor Brutally Tortured by Her Husband

Senior Pakistani journalist and anchorperson, Jasmeen Manzoor, has come forward with shocking claims of domestic violence, shedding light on the horrific abuse she endured. The prominent media personality shared visual evidence of her injuries on social media, reigniting urgent discussions on women’s safety and justice in Pakistan.

In a series of posts, Jasmeen Manzoor displayed images of her swollen eye and bruised face, which appear to be the result of a violent domestic assault. The photos, taken from various angles, are accompanied by medical reports confirming the abuse. Despite raising her voice in the past, Jasmeen expressed that her pleas for help were ignored.

In a direct message to those who had supported her former husband, Jasmeen stated, “This is for those who supported a criminal. This is a gift from my ex-husband.” In another post, she wrote, “This is me. Yes, this is my story, my life destroyed by a violent man. I leave my justice to my Allah.”

The journalist went further to tag international media outlets, emphasizing the gravity of the situation: “This story needs to be told. I’m a journalist from Pakistan. If this can happen to me, imagine what countless other women face daily without help.”

Since the incident, Jasmeen Manzoor has remained vocal on social media. On June 9, she accused another woman of contributing to the breakdown of her marriage. Just days later, on June 14, Jasmeen announced the launch of a documentary on sexual harassment, encouraging other victims to come forward and share their experiences.

Her courageous decision to publicly share her trauma has garnered significant support from fellow journalists and civil society. At the same time, it has sparked critical conversations about the response to domestic violence cases, particularly when public figures are involved. Jasmeen Manzoor‘s actions have highlighted the need for justice, solidarity, and a stronger commitment to protecting women in Pakistan.

This revelation has brought to light not only the personal suffering of Jasmeen but also the broader issue of domestic violence, urging authorities and society to take stronger action against such crimes.
