ISLAMABAD: Shah Salman Relief Center is set to sign various agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with several organizations tomorrow, Tuesday, in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad.
The event will be attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, alongside Pakistani officials and international and local humanitarian organizations.
The agreements will focus on providing aid and initiating development projects in Pakistan’s underprivileged regions, aligning with the center’s ongoing relief efforts.
Founded in May 2015 under the guidance of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the center is an international institution dedicated to humanitarian work. It aims to assist the needy and provide disaster relief worldwide through efficient monitoring and swift response mechanisms. The center collaborates with UN agencies and various local and international non-profit organizations to implement its projects.
The relief projects cover a wide range of areas, including food security, camp management, shelter, early recovery, protection, education, water and sanitation, nutrition, health, logistical support, and emergency communications. These programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of beneficiaries and the challenges they face.
