A potentially catastrophic incident was averted when the train derailed near Barkat Town. The accident occurred due to the failure of a 200-year-old wooden track, which caused the train to tilt.

Fortunately, the train did not plunge into a populated area as it became lodged in the middle of a bridge, preventing further damage.

Railway authorities have come under criticism for negligence in maintaining the tracks, which is believed to have led to the accident.

Emergency response teams were swiftly dispatched to the site upon receiving reports of the derailment. Thankfully, no casualties were recorded, and a major disaster was narrowly avoided.

Both railway police and staff arrived at the scene to take control of the situation and ensure passenger safety.
