The tremors were primarily felt in areas such as Quaidabad, Shah Faisal Colony, Gulzar Hijri, and along University Road. Local residents reported brief but noticeable shaking, which lasted only a few seconds in most cases. One resident from Shah Faisal Colony noted that people momentarily left their homes and offices in response to the quake.

Experts confirmed that the earthquake was minor and posed no immediate risk. A spokesperson from the Seismological Centre stated, “This morning’s tremor is consistent with a series of low-magnitude seismic activities we’ve been tracking since early June.”

With this latest event, Karachi has now witnessed its 39th seismic occurrence since the beginning of the month, raising public concern over the increasing frequency of these tremors.

Authorities have advised citizens to remain composed and adhere to standard safety guidelines in case further seismic events take place.
