The first phase will begin in Malir district, where a survey will be conducted to assess schools and nearby areas.
During this phase, 11,000 students will receive hot lunch boxes at school. Depending on the results and progress in the first year, the program could be extended to other government schools across Sindh.
A robust monitoring system will also be set up to track meal distribution and maintain food quality. This decision was made following a meeting between Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah and WFP Country Director Coco Ushiyama at the School Education Department office on Wednesday.
