Imran caught TikTok by storm, gaining over 3 million followers in 24 hours after creating an account. But this was definitely not the end of it, as the former Prime Minister’s social media following continued to grow with each new post.
With 6.7 million followers at the time of writing, Imran Khan has now become the most followed political leader on TikTok. With 12 uploads, he has also received 40.7 million likes. On the app, he currently has over 450 million views.
Imran Khan has more followers than El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, who has 6.4 million. Brazil’s President, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, is third on this list with 4.4 million followers.

Currently, French President Emmanuel Macron has 3.9 million followers, followed by Colombian President Gustavo Petro, who has 1.7 million followers.
American Senator Bernie Sanders has 1.4 million followers, whereas Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has 1.2 million. Meanwhile, with over 822,000 followers, US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the only one on the list who falls short of the million mark.
If Imran Khan’s TikTok following continues to grow at this rate, we will soon see another jump in these numbers, especially if he continues to upload actively every day, with each post receiving over 5 million views. In fact, his most popular upload had around 200 million views.
