Pakistani Special Olympics athletes continue to win medals.

Pakistan now has nine gold medals after Mohammad Luqman and Habibullah won gold medals in the Special World Games.

Pakistan’s sportsmen have continued to excel at the Special World Games, earning a remarkable total of nine gold medals. The Pakistani contingent displayed amazing skill and commitment at the event, which was dedicated to commemorating the achievements of athletes with intellectual disability.

Muhammad Luqman had great speed and agility in the 100-meter event, winning gold with a time of 15.21 seconds. Luqman also won a silver medal in the long jump, demonstrating his flexibility.

In addition, powerlifter Habibullah stood out, winning a gold medal in the 83-kilogram weight category for the deadlift. He won silver medals in the squat, bench press, and combined weightlifting events.

Mir Waiz had outstanding endurance in the 3000-meter event, earning a silver medal with a time of 10 minutes and 11 seconds.

Pakistan’s success spread to other sports as well. Hasan Patel took bronze in the 50-meter freestyle swimming event, finishing in 1 minute and 03.93 seconds.

Furthermore, Saadia Junaid won a silver medal in the women’s singles tennis event, while Pakistan’s hockey mixed team won a bronze medal. Pakistan Unified Men defeated Pakistan Unified Mix in the basketball tournament, collecting another bronze medal.
