Nimra Salim, Pakistan’s first female astronaut, achieved a historic milestone by completing her space journey aboard Virgin Galactic’s commercial space liner.

Her accomplishment has brought global recognition to Pakistan. A celebratory event took place in New Mexico, featuring an aerial parade and a wings ceremony.

Salim was awarded the wings of valor by the space shuttle commander for her participation in Virgin Galactic’s fourth space flight. The event was attended by Virgin Galactic officials, pilots, and space travel staff.
