Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has told Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-Chairman and former President Asif Ali Zardari that all allies will be taken into account when determining the country’s future political strategy.

PPP co-Chairman Zardari requested that PM Shehbaz ponder on the dissolution of the National Assembly (NA) and the installation of a caretaker setup.According to reports, Asif Zardari came at Shehbaz Sharif’s mansion in Lahore Model Town for the meeting, which was attended by the premier’s sons Suleman Shahbaz and Hamza Shahbaz, as well as federal ministers.

During the meeting, the two leaders held detailed conversations about future political strategy, with a special emphasis on the approaching general elections and the deployment of a caretaker government.

Zardari praised the prime minister for his important role in securing the International Monetary Fund (IMF) package and congratulated him on the successful deal.

The prime minister told Zardari that the allies will be contacted and kept up to date on future policy.

The PPP leader stated that they are working together to clear the landmines planted by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to stymie development.
