The event is part of Dubai Police’s “Positive Spirit” campaign, which prioritizes organizing sporting activities for convicts in order to improve their mental and physical well-being.

Dubai Police strives to provide a healthy and friendly atmosphere that encourages social, sporting, and cultural development by including prisoners in various programs, events, and activities.

The e-sports event is only one of several initiatives by Dubai Police to teach and include offenders in positive activities, according to Brigadier Salah Jumaa Bu Asaibah, Deputy Director-General at the Department of Punitive and Correctional Establishments.

Furthermore, Fatima Buhajeer, the Positive Spirit initiative’s General Coordinator, emphasized how this endeavor promotes optimism, tolerance, and coexistence while assisting many segments of society, including inmates at punitive and correctional facilities.
