A female student has accused the principal of a private school in the Jandanwala neighborhood of Bhakkar of harassing her.

After a video showing the principal, Abdul Razzaq, acting inappropriately with a 16-year-old girl on the grounds of the school went viral on social media, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Noor Ahmad Awan took action. An unidentified person covertly taped the footage and posted it online.

The deputy commissioner reported the event as harassment and ordered the school’s registration to be cancelled. Despite taking these steps, the authorities have not yet been able to capture the principal responsible for these unsettling behaviors. In a related instance, the police detained a school secretary in Rahim Yar Khan earlier this month on suspicion of raping an 11th-grade pupil. The victim’s father filed the report and said that his daughter did not come home on Saturday.
