Quetta Police Van Hit by Grenade Attack

Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, was rocked by a hand grenade attack that left a police officer and four others injured, raising concerns about security in the region.

Reports from local media highlighted that the attack targeted a police van, resulting in injuries to five individuals, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of police and four pedestrians. The incident unfolded at Nawan Kali Pashtunistan Chowk in Quetta.

Prompt response from police authorities ensured the injured received immediate medical attention at a nearby healthcare facility.

In the aftermath of the attack, rapid intervention by rescue teams and law enforcement helped evacuate the wounded and initiate an urgent investigation to track down those responsible for the assault.
