The Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) has announced a compassionate initiative to provide free medical treatment for patients aged 70 years and above.
The Medical Superintendent (MS), Dr. Javaria Abdullah Malik, issued a circular to communicate this decision.

The initiative covers various diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests, Echo, ETT, TOE, and ECG, and is intended to ensure the well-being of elderly patients in Rawalpindi and the surrounding areas.
The waiver of fees will be granted upon verification of the patient’s age using their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
