Reema recently visited Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil to offer her condolences on the tragic death of his son, Asim Jamil, who reportedly died by suicide in Tulamba, Punjab on October 29.

Taking to Instagram, Reema shared a photo of her meeting with Maulana Tariq Jamil and penned a heartfelt note in the caption, expressing her sympathy for the grieving family.

In her Instagram post, Reema emphasized the profound lesson of bowing before Almighty God under all circumstances and accepting His will, as exemplified by Maulana Tariq Jamil and his family.

Commending Maulana Tariq Jamil and his family for embodying the teachings they preach, Reema noted the remarkable balance between their words and actions. She acknowledged Maulana Sahib’s practical demonstration of allegiance to Islam, going beyond mere verbal lessons.

Concluding her note with prayers, Reema extended wishes for Maulana Tariq Jamil to continue spreading valuable lessons and for God to grant patience to him and his family in coping with this excruciating loss.

Following the tragic incident, Maulana Tariq Jamil confirmed Asim Jamil’s accidental death through a post on the social media platform X. The Islamic scholar requested prayers and expressed the family’s grief over the unexpected loss.

According to sources, Asim Jamil, who was suffering from mental illness and undergoing medication, took his own life while exercising at his gym in Tulamba. The incident was captured on CCTV, revealing that Asim had snatched a pistol from his security guard during the workout and shot himself in the chest.
